How about some practice play.......
« on: February 23, 2006, 12:35:50 PM »
For a while I have thought about asking one of the Guys that runs my bowling alley (The Team England Captain incidentally) if he would ever consider allowing bowlers to bowl on a lane with no pins for say an hour at a time for say between $5-$10.

In my center on the couple of hours a week it has cheaper bowling it is busy but once it finishes the place becomes a ghost town and is only really busy in the evenings and then mainly at the weekend. If the bowling alleys did what I suggest not only would they be making money through the bowling but the bowlers would be buying drinks, food etc. This would also allow bowlers like myself time to practice on individual things like Bones suggests and not have to worry about score because I have just spent £3.50/$5 per game.

What do you guys reckon to this? Do any of your houses do this and if so what is their policy on it and how popular is it?
I would have got away with it if it was not for those pesky kids (Behind my lane) and those blasted 10 pins.
