How do YOU shoot your spares?
« on: July 08, 2005, 01:52:05 AM »
A couple of questions here.  Do you adjust off your strike line, or do you shoot off the third arrow and adjust your feet, for instance.  Also, do you use plastic on ALL spares or only certain ones?  I find that the spares I am having the most trouble with are on the LEFT side rather than the right.  I'd rather see a ten pin leave than a seven pin any day of the week.  Just trying to get a feel of what works for you!

Maxim spare ball. Use 3-6-9 system. Hit 90 percent of my spares.

No more wrist guard. No more inconsistency. Which way would you go?

I might be the only one but i was taught to keep it simple , being raised by a carpenter/construction worker/ Fixture worker I was shown that you use only 1 arrow for spares!!! I use the third arrow (right side) and set up my feet where ever allows me to make the spare one target all the time ROCKS!!!!!!!

If only it was the same for strikes
