didn't even know they gave out 298's anymore? I just shot my first 299, and they said that I don't get a ring for that (i'm yaba if that makes a difference).

It really depends on how soon the association secretary sends the award request into USBC. Our women's association sends the awards in as soon as they are received, while the men's secretary waits until he has several.

im not sure, but i shot a 804 over 2 months ago and havent heard anything about it. but im a YABA im not sure if that makes a difference or not but. o well

i've gotten 1 yaba 300 ring that took about a year and half b/c of a dispute about whether the tournament was sanctioned or not. basically what happened was i paid for a "sanction fee" with the entry and the woman running the tourney forgot to sanction it. that one took a while. but i've had 2 300 rings and a 299 ring in abc and they only took...a month max.
