Just wondering?

The thought of a 32-36 week league at $20-24 a night plus another $20-30 a night in optional side action isn't looking to feasible right now for alot of people.  Heaven forbid you multiply that number by two or three.

I'm cutting back, but not due to the economy.  I am cutting back due to lack of interest in bowling more than 2 leagues.  If they didn't have a spot for me in either league, I was not going to look for any replacements.  I'll be bowling in my Monday Sport trios league and Wednesday moxed 4 handicap NBAC League.

I did one league last winter, I'm actually going to bump myself up to 2 leagues and as many tournaments as I can get my grubby little paws on.

Cutting back from 2 to one. I don't need the headaches of the "PBA Experience" anymore.

Add my name to the list...if you live in a big city like I do, then you know that gas is a factor...Its killing me! to drive from one alley to another thru the week. Im dropping down to one maybe two leagues a week. These two leagues will be in my vicinity.

I am cutting from 3 back to 1 this season. It has more to do with trying to get out of debt than the economy. I am gonna miss it though I know that. Its killing me bowling only one league in the Summer. I couldn't afford my PBA Experience league and every Tuesday I think about how I wish I was bowling in it.

Tdub.....im having withdrawls as we speak of the thought of not bowling as much as I want thru the week.

One question though....Isnt getting out of debt and the economy tied in together? just asking.

I am only bowling one a Scratch league in Oshkosh WI about 20 minutes from my house. No mixed or couples league this season, though I may sub on at Super Bowl on Tuesdays in the Scratch Classic if I am needed.

Might be bowling the usual 1 league this fall, but that depends if we can get the team together and make a decision.

We have a couple of people that don't want to commit to the full 35 weeks - don't think it's a financial thing, I just think it's a monotonous/boredom thing - so we'll end up with 7 people on a 5 person team, with 3 "regulars" and 4 "rotating" bowlers.

The league we wanted is full and has a waiting list, and we can't make a decision on returning to the league we've bowled the past 2 years.

If we don't bowl a league, I'll just end up bowling 6+ games on the weekend - whatever I can bowl for the $20 league fee.

I was only bowling once a week but that is going to be replaced with a weekly poker tournament at my casino. I think I'll just stick with bowling only tournaments this years.
