Just wondering?

The thought of a 32-36 week league at $20-24 a night plus another $20-30 a night in optional side action isn't looking to feasible right now for alot of people.  Heaven forbid you multiply that number by two or three.

Whats up DP... i'm going to do one league.  But, it has been alot cheaper for me to bowl not in a league.  Pay 5 dollars for 3 games of practice, or 25 dollars to bowl in a league where first place pays 80 % of your money back.

i'm still bowling the same amount. my men's scratch league is $15 a week and lasts 33 weeks. i don't get in any "side" money......i lose focus on my bowling as i'm worrying about the money. my saturday night mixed league is $11 a week and lasts 32 weeks. i practice monday's after work for $1 a game.....usually 6 games. i drive 30 miles to bowl league and practice. there's the gas money to take into consideration. i gave up bowling pba regionals due to all the costs involved( dues, entry fees, gas, motels, food, equipment, etc. ).

Well, I only bowl one league during the winter.  So,  guess I'm not cutting back any.

I'm bowling in two leagues as the season start in a few weeks.
I hate ten pins but love the game of bowling with just the right ball to take them out.

I will bowl my normal 2 leagues, but I have to cut back on all the side pots, and watch how much beer I buy. Also drive the wifes Scion XA to Bowling as one of my leagues is about a 35 min. drive.

I'm still bowling two leagues, and full steam ahead for my tournament schedule in the fall.

UGH...don't get me started on fall leagues!

I'm gonna be bowling in 3 leagues:

$22 Tuesday Night scratch trio mixed (I've bowled in it every year since I've gone adult)

$20 Wednesday Night Mens 5-man league (we completely owned that league last year...so couldn't turn down the payout $$$)

$? (around $20ish) Thursday Night scratch 4-person mixed league (almost a definate, and haven't bowled this league in 4 years, but team looks solid).

PLUS

Wifey is getting back into bowling, so she's bowling the Tuesday and Thusrday leagues as well (neither of which on my team, but with 2 very good teams...both of which will have possibly the best lefty in Jacksonville on her team)!

over $100 a week.....UGH!!!!!

Guess it's a good investment for May though...right?

I'm cutting back from two to one this winter, though my "financial advisor" assures me it's unrelated to gas prices.  We live about two miles from the center, it doesn't kill us to drive there.

I don't think it's right to cut back.  I mean, I am sleeping with her.

I cut back on 1 league in the Summer and only bowled 1 league. Didn't wait for the winter. WIll probably only bowl 1 winter league. really need to to bowl at least 2 to keep my head and my body in the game. Not sure what I will do.

I plan on 3-5 games of practice on Monday @ $1.15 or $1.25 per game if they raise price, then Senior League Tuesday afternoon ($8.25 last winter so will probably be $8.50 or $8.75 this winter) and pot bowl 3 games on Thursday afternoon. (cost is $3.00 plus lineage which should be $1.15 or $1.25 per game if they raise it) My total cost per week will probably be between $21 and $24.

I'm just going to do 1 league, but I'll practice 2 different days.
I'm planning on practicing 3-5 games on either Tuesday or Thursday, depending on other leagues scheduled. Practice Saturday nights on dry leftovers for 3-5 games and then bowl Adult/Junior on Sundays with a fresh medium unless that changes.
