How much should I ask for
« on: July 09, 2010, 03:06:43 AM »
I have a guy interested in buying 9 balls from me.  How much should I let the lot go for?

Radical inferno x2
Fury solid (2nd drill)
xfactor
raw anger
columbia wicked
urethane turbo
Ebo Wildcat (2nd Drill)
Gyro

I was thinking 200ish...or should i ask for more.  Some of these balls have seen better days.  One of the infernos is in great shape and so is the fury but on 2nd drill.  The xfactor has been turned a few times because the letters are wearing off.  Anger has cracking around fingers.  The turbo is in good shape.  Wildcat on 2nd drill and kind of beat up, same with gyro.

Just looking for a lil help here.  Didnt plan on selling them all together.  Oh and this is local so no shipping to figure...

If I were you, I'd be in the same price range. $200-250.

Considering you have 9 balls, + some that are not in such good condition, + some are much older balls + some on 2nd drill (even if they're good, they ARE 2nd drill) ---
I'd say good balls are $40 (+/-) each,
(None of yours seem to be new and hot or old and very desirable such that they may call for a higher used ball price than $40),
cracked fingers and 2nd drill are about $15 - 20 each (maybe $25) and a discount for the large volume of balls he's taking,
$200 is not unreasonable.

I told him 200 he shot me back 135...I said the cheapest I could go is 160.  Havent heard anything back from him yet.  That and he's wanting me to drive about an hour and a half from the house possibly.  I thought 200 was a steal.  Yeah some arent in great shape but that's 9 dang balls!  I paid well over 300 dollars for all of these.  He said he was taking into account shipping as well...yeah right, not for 135.  If he doesnt want them at 160, I guess i'll keep luggin them around...ha!

Now he wants the infernos, raw anger, fury, wicked and x factor for 110....of course, they are the best balls out of the lot.  6 balls for 110....he just wants a handout from what I can tell.  it''s going to cost him double that to have most of them set up for him...

I dunno...

1 Inferno is in great condition single drill
1 Inferno has been gouged and fixed, moved thumb hole
Fury great shape but on 2nd drill
Raw Anger has finger cracking 1st drill
Wicked on 1st drill, but has a small gouge between the fingers and thumb
xfactor is just old and been resurfaced a bit wearing on labels, 1st drill
