How to Determine Top Weight
« on: November 01, 2003, 07:42:23 PM »
How is this done?

If I wanted a ball to combat heavy oil what top weight would I need?

What about a ball that reads the mid-lane? Is there a preferred top weight to work with?

I’m looking at getting the Carbide Bomb with a 0-2” pin. Looking to drill it around a 25 – 30 degree layout.

Then I was thinking of getting the Black Cherry. 2-3” pin drilled stacked leverage.

If I bought these from an on-line catalog what top weights should I ask for?

My style is in my profile.

Well, the more top weight the longer the ball will roll. The top weight is listed on the box.

Old rule of thumb use low top weight for heavier oil and high top weight for drier lanes.

Thanks, I'll remember this, but.....

What is the range?

High---
