Insert to Non-Insert
« on: March 07, 2014, 09:38:07 AM »
My insert of preference is Vise because I love the lift and feel it provides...  Looks and feels like I am changing out insert almost every 2months depending on how many games I am throwing... I love the tightness around my fingers but once that is gone I cant control the reaction and was wondering if you can get the same feel with non-inserts...

If so - What do I need to tell my proshop man...

Tried throwing other peoples equipment without insert and it was very painfull...

you could try no inserts and then use bowlers tape on your fingers. Than if your fingers swell or shrink from week to week you can adjust how much tape you use to get the same feel.

Another thing to try in having the pro shop drill you a ball (without inserts) with oval fingers.  No one's fingers are perfectly round and ovals can go a long way towards comfort.
