KC area?
« on: October 06, 2003, 12:44:10 AM »
I should be in the KC area tomorrow and tomorrow night.
I will be in the Roeland park area, Where ever that is...
Might want to do some bowling in the evening if it is possible...
Anyone near this area?

Closest center to you should be Mission Bowl, 5399 Martway. Get on Roe Avenue south. You will run into some construction that will take you to Johnson Drive westbound. Take a left at the first light(Mission Mall on SE corner) and go one block south to Martway(next light). Turn right and Mission Bowl is about 1/3 mile up the street on the left-hand side.
It has 24 Pro Anvil Lanes installed 2000-2001.  Also has an 18-hole miniature golf course.
A fairly decent facility considering it was a hole and nearly closed for good in the early 90s.

AMF West is located at 87th and Metcalf, brand new HPL lanes and the ice rink, but more expensive than Mission.
Of course, you might want to see if they have open lanes available.

Hey, you'll have to come visit Topeka sometime then.  I'd like to see what somebody from out of state says about the conditions at my home house.  I'd like to know if they really are as irritating as I think they are, or if I just suck . .

I almost stopped in Topeka yesterday to meet you. But I had no idea where your center is.

Ahh.  The address is 1935 SW Westport Drive, 66604.  It's all about Mapquest . .  Whenever you get a chance, you'll have to stop by and watch our scratch league on Tuesday nights at 9.  If you decide to come visit, tell me when you're coming so I can make sure to be here.  My hours are by committee, lol.  The boss gets here and decides whether or not it's busy enough for him to pay me to stay around.

Ty, poor Ron. You're gonna cause him to go broke there now.

Well Ron pissed me off real bad and I have already stopped using him. He is a two faced ass. And I am sure people (like me and you) will see this and he will end up cutting his own throat.

Now I gotta find a GOOD proshop up there.

Yeah Ty, but I don't know about "the best" because he is not consistant. He can be the best when he is in right mood, pays attention, and tries and he can be the worse also, such as the drilling for me two years ago that I told you about. Then when I took the balls back to him, the SOB drilled them wrong again in the same identical place and made me pay for his mistake a second time. I could have refused to pay, but then he could probably have had me banned from the lanes and I didn't want that so I paid the SOB and haven't been back to his shop since.
