Kingpin Million Dollar Challenge

I found this post on another site and thought it was interesting.

Bowlers Beware, This Could Be Our Last Chance!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello, I'm Nick Morgan and I've been bowling Mega Bucks tournaments for 15 years. I'll be 50 years old soon, and I'm worried. I just left Sam's Town in Las Vegas and first place was only $20,000 not $200,000 like it used it be.

My life long dream of bowling full time will happen soon, when I retire. Working at UPS for the last 21 years, having a wife and 3 kids made it too big of a financial risk to try the PBA. I'm worried because the Senior Tour is not doing well and Mega Bucks are dying. Then finally a tournament like the Kingpin Million Dollar Challenge comes along and only has 700 entries! What's going on here??? Everyone I talked to at the High Roller about the Kingpin said its been tried before or they're going to bowl but haven't signed up yet because there is no incentive to sign up early. NO INCENTIVE? How about ONE MILLON DOLLARS FIRST PLACE, HOW ABOUT NATIONAL COVERAGE ON NBC TV, or most of all TO SAVE BOWLING! These guys (kingpin promoters) are for real, I've meet them personally. The whole industry is sponsoring this tournament. USBC, Bowlers Journal, Bowling this month, ALL THE MAJOR BALL COMPANIES, and not to mention the City of Reno and Tri properties.

Please for Women,Seniors, Regional Pros, junior leaguers and bowlers like myself, Sign up now and help save our sport, it could be our last chance.
