LaneHawk Watermellon bowling ball
« on: November 16, 2003, 02:54:54 AM »
does anybody know why this ball is not approved for abc/wibc sanctioned leagues and/or tournaments?  i really don't see the reason why this ball would be considered "illegal".  i mean come on, its a plastic ball!!!  thanks to anyone that will respond with a helpful answer.

Just checked the list and it is approved as of aug03.

Here is the link http://www.bowl.com/bin/pdf/approved_balllist.pdf

It is on page 19 the company is listed as HJ Malone

The only lanehawk balls that are still illegal are listed as clear Lanehawk balls  that list is here http://www.bowl.com/bowl/BowlDotCom/common/static.html?page=bowl_speccert_balllist_nonconforming

In that list does anyone know why they are Non-Conforming.

I think the QUASAR is because of its lights.

Do some of them have too high of a differential?
