Lucky Lefty response
« on: August 08, 2006, 05:08:16 AM »
Quote"Jorge....
Due to a person above named Jorge300(you know him?)...if there were bets...this person said there could not be? implying he would cause trouble for one of the participants(do you remember this Jorge guys post?)...at such a time any negotiations regarding such an event were ended in the public forum and you were not privy to any on going discussion if there was any...,it looked like your intentions were to cause trouble for one of the participants...something it seemed you would be happy to create. At this time there has been a request to reveal condition bowled on and results ane I am still awaiting the post from you with the details! ( I have seen the post somewhere else and could not get there thru link...I will another way.)

Any other persons who have been talked to on such a subject are watching to see your comments. YOur business comments and accusations of business misconduct are very serious accusations and are in error and I tactfully suggest you stop them. Your comments above are being reviewed as we speak and I have printed out your timestamp above. I suggest a hasty apology on this site immediately regarding your false and unfounded accusations as a prudent action."

Lefty, what is your problem? I am excercising my right to free speech. You have brought into question my intelligence, my bowling ability, my education, and who knows what else. Yet I make a remark and this is the response I get. You can dish it out, but can't take it? Or maybe I hit too close to home? If the Webmasters are out there watching me, so what. I have done nothing against the TOS of the site. And if they are watching then I hope they go back over your posts and see what you have called myself and others on here and take action against you as well. If we both get kicked off of here, I am sure there is more then 1 person ( K-Dawg) that will stand up and cheer, lol.

I'll tell you what, if you want an apology, you first. If you apologize for your remarks first, you'll get mine. Otherwise, we will continue to banter back and forth stretching the bounds of good taste, at least from your side.

THere is a big difference between questioning...and accusing.

YOu may have to learn the difference.

There are people out here who may be able to guide you or help you in pursuit of the difference.  IT should be learned ...and learned quickly.
I have posted...you have 24 hours...get learning!

But I guess it's alright to accuse me of things? Like besmirching my education and Penn State University. Like accusing me of being less then intelligent? Maybe you shoud learn a thing or two before telling others to learn. You have my response, you apologize first, then you'll get mine. You want it, step up.

Jorge,

If I were you I would not apologize. I have followed most of the threads and remember you saying something about LL's business dealings but certainly did not see anything that was actionable!

Grow up! Through most of his posts I have always felt that LL was a lawyer because of all his verbal diarreah!

This is not grade 7 where people need to be taught a lesson.

Chad...at this point..you have nothing to worry about!
You and I disagree on the merits of Robert Mushtare's claims of bowling a 900.
Big deal.  You and I disagree on the basics of statistics...big deal.

Jorge disagrees with me on the merits of Robert Mushtare's claim of multiple 900s...big deal!

However, carefully review the serious mistake Jorge has made on this site (I have detailed to him the quote that is extremely damaging and false).  It is dramatically different...it is serious and it MUST be corrected ..he has his opportunity.

LL

You take a position (whether you believe it or not)on a particular subject.

You relish arguing from the underdog position. (Me and him against the world)and then when the weight of the arguement against your position collapses your little house of cards you get OFFENDED.

Shame on you!!!!

It is not that I don't like him. I respected his opinions and the ability to have an opinion) on many subjects.

I just don't like the double standard reaction he is giving here.

I could care less if it is 5000 people to one against me regarding whether Robert Mustare bowled x 900s...which it may be.  Or maybe 318,000 to 1...I don't care!

I'm not worried one bit about the discussion of did Robert Mushtare bowl x number of 900s at this time...last thing in the world on my mind at this moment.
Lost an argument of science vs emotion...I am not convinced I've lost or worried about it!

Doesn't matter one bit to me at this particular moment.

I have had accusations made against me regarding business ethics.. THAT is my ONLY concern.  You are not helping or hurting Jorge...only he can help himself here.

BTW, I seem to have missed the "accusations of business misconduct."  What, specifically, were they?

Here's how I see this:

--Lefty is so adamant in his idol worship that he has been whipped into a frenzy by Jorge's comments.

--Jorge is so outraged that Lefty's beliefs undermine all that we love about our sport, that he fine-tooth-combs all of Lefty's comments.  By doing that, he thoroughly confuses himself (as we all do when attempting to read around Lefty's misplaced punctuation marks) and gets increasingly frustrated.

--Lefty lashes back when he is called out (and I believe, rightfully) as someone who welches on a bet, prompting him to fine-tooth-comb Jorge's posts.

--Lefty believes what he wants.  Jorge believes what he wants.  Lefty believes that Tim Mack showed up and they bowled.  He refuses to accept any more than that was a session of Tiddly Winks between two dudes in a bowling alley.  Jorge will quote actual articles about the encounter.

--Jorge gets an extra two points for using the word "besmirch" in a sentence.

I have it as an even fight headed into the 12th and final round.

Thanks Yossarian.  How does Jorge know LL didn't pay?  Or if, in fact, there was a real bet?
