Mixed league rant...

So I subbed last night in a mixed league...Mostly drinkers, straight bowlers and a good team here and there..

Anyway on are pair we had 7 (total) straight plastic throwers...Right down the middle (pretty much, lol)

Check out this set:

262-135-132

First game everything was going great...After all that plastic moved the oil down, I was screwed !

Needless to say I will never sub in that, nor any mixed "fun" league !

Seems like I just tossed my $5 right out the window

Damn straight bowlers !

I took in one ball (Epic Battle) and my Tour Ultra's...nothing else

Ball in one hand shoes in the other...

Where I play, no one else does..but I gotta have a some dry to bounce it off of !

You posted a rant on a public forum that is opposite of what 90% of the bowlers on here agree with and then expect people to not reply and be against what you are saying?  Think about it.  And yes, there are quite a few "non-fluffers" who will play the twig on a THS.  It's called developing a B & C Game.

Exactly! Its a public forum, great anit it ?!

I could care less if people agree or not...Same thing I say when I cash in the brackets.

Just because 90% on here claim they don't like it or do, don't mean they don't it!!!

You really think all these 200+ avg's posted on here are from Sport Shots and PBA patterns ? ! LOL!

Most of these people are mad they can't turn the ball, thats all.

~ Turn the ball
~ Cross boards
~ Cash in the brackets

If I bowl in a league that don;t work for me, then I'm done.

That has to be one of the lamest statements I've ever seen made.  Since when does turning the ball or covering boards make anyone a better bowler?  Your statements  stand for exactly why this sport is on the decline.  Bottom line!

You know its ture...Look at:

How many things claim to "get you more revs"

How strong the balls are and some are actually advertised to "help low rev bowlers"

Say what you will, but everything some low rev player sees a cranker covering boards it and blowing out racks, it gets in there mind and shakes them up.

Also, I never said that this, this & this will make you a better bowler did ?

I could polish a SBC and make it work, but it doesn't mean it's suited for that.  Typical cross as many boards a possible.  That explains the 219 avg.  Put 302 on any non THS shot and he might as well throw his shoes at the pins.  Better yet how about a THS w/ carrydown?  I hope you have some heavy shoes.
