Mixing Bleach and Sulphuric Acid
« on: July 31, 2006, 04:06:54 PM »
Whatever you do, never mix these two ingrediants together. I thought I made Agent Orange in my house for a second and nearly died. The fumes took forever to get out too. Nevermind why I was mixing these, nor was it for bowling. Just trust me on this one.

ok....

The "stump" cannot be removed. Last year I spent 100 dollars to have it torn down. It would have costed 200 dollars more to have it drilled out. That was before I payed over 1000 dollars to fix my main line which the tree roots broke. The line was on my parkway and the city wouldn't pay for it or my insurance which obviously made me angry.  The tree was there before I moved in. What foot would plant a giant fruit tree next to a water line?

The bleech and acid did damage it a little. I have two drills with multiple spade bits and you have no idea how hard the drill has to work to get just a couple of inches. I'm told by the tree stump removal I need to drill a foot down.

Horse manure.

Bleach + Ammonia = Ammonium Chloride + H20 (water)
Yep, lots of really bad gas!

Chlorine gas? Nope. One whiff of that and you're last week's mashed potatoes.
