I have found the new A.I. to be all that and a bag of chips.  Heads, midlane read and wicked backend.  I have a U.I. polished to a ultra glass finish, but it still need some oil in the heads to be truly effective.  The A.I. is definitely much cleaner through the head, but the ruff buff prep on the activator + coverstock still needs a little oil.  In essence, the U.I. and A.I. seem to over lap just a little. Both balls are set up as a triple threat. Aggressive core, aggressive coverstock, with an aggressive drilling.  Pin under ring finger with CG kicked out to the max.  So my hunch was to really have the 1-2 punch I was looking for I needed to polish my A.I. to a ultra glass finish  with that super tacky finish.  I don't like skid flip.  Well my hunch was right.
Polished, my A.I. flexed it's muscles even more. On a typical THS it opened up the lanes another 5 boards from the ruff buff box condition. It still reads the midlane like before but only a foot further down the lane, and now the backend is even more insane.  Last night during my DYS league I go 206 with my U.I.  Picked up my newly Polished A.I. and crushed the hole with the front 9, Grabbed it a pinch in the 10th and finished with a 276.  Followed that with a 257. Absolutely incredible reaction and overall versatility.  So if you have the same hunch  . . . polish away and open up your game even more.
