Need some pointers....
« on: July 14, 2005, 01:16:12 PM »
I am about to start in one of our pro-shops in Nashville as the manager in the shop, and was just wondering about taking another drillers place.  The gentleman had been there almost 4 years and is going to another shop in our chain to take the manager's position there.  I feel very confident that I will prosper there and have no problem transitioning, but I am concerned about the customers to some extent.  I mean I know what I am doing, have had very few problems with customer's as far a reaction and such. but I still fear in screwing up a layout for a prominent customer and losing some customer base possibly.  I would just like to hear some stories from some people on here about their experiences in doing the same thing and things they have done and not done to make sure the customers there stay there.

I know what you mean, but I guess where my concern really lies how will I stack up to the other guy.  I mean he is an awesome driller and I am just concerned about how big the bandwagon will be he will take with him.
