Old Balls
« on: May 15, 2003, 01:29:04 AM »
I have often wondered if companies remake old core technology with current coverstocks.  With the information on drilling and layouts, I wonder what old Asymmeterical ball would work with today's knowledge.  I am sure that most of the large companies have retested old cores. Just something that I think about.

I would like to see the Rhino Pro T2 core Done in PK 18.
That was the best core I have ever used

I'd MUCH rather see some of the older weaker covers in some of the newer more creative cores!! The new covers are far too strong.

I second that CharlesT!

I would LOVE to get the morpheus core into a red pearl or burgandy hammer.

I really would love to see the Columbia Power Torq core done in Super Flex or even the Muscle coverstock.  That ball still matches up great with my high-track/forward roll release.  I still use that ball on synthetics and can get it to hook as much as my newer higher flaring equipment on medium to medium heavy conditions for some reason.
