PIN & TOP WEIGHT?????
« on: June 11, 2003, 12:13:43 PM »
I am getting ready to purchase a ball that will be drilled stacked leverage (3 3/8 X 3 3/8). What I need to know is there a preferred pin and top weight for this type of drilling?

Me: RH, stroker,15-17mph, low to med revs, low axis tilt, 30°-45° axis rotation, usually play between 10-15 arrows and 7-11 break point.

Personally, I would find a 3 and 3. Meaning, 3 inch pin to cg and a 3 oz. top.

Good luck.......

Ya Jeff's recomendations are pretty much the norm.  What ball are you thinking of drilling like this anyways?  I would make sure the top weight doesn't go to far over 3-1/2 ozs' too...depending on the ball you may need a pretty large weight hole.

14# Deuce or ReLoaded when it comes out.
I was thinking that I should keep Top between 2.5 & 3 since I am a high tracker PAP is over 5.5 up .75.  This sound right to ya all?

Yeah I would keep it under 3oz top weight.
I just got a gryphon drilled up not to long ago and was going to get it done stacked, but had 3oz top weight, and my driller said the whole would be huge.
