Will polishing a Vendetta Sniper, pin under ring, cg over thumb to the right, make it go longer and have a sharper breakpoint? I noticed tonight that it hit well, and hook a good bit, but it was smooth. I want to see if altering the cover will give me more of a sharp break, so it doesnt use up alot of its energy when it reads the midlane.

Might do the trick, but Snipers come at a pretty high grit anyway and I would think with polish you would run the risk of throwing it past breakpoint.

DynoThane's webiste says polish may be beneficial to low to medium ballspeed players, but doesn't reccomend it for higher revs. It instead suggest a lenght drilling.

Another option might be to up the grit of the surface to 3 or 4000.
