POLL!! Strong Core - Weak Reactive Cover
« on: November 06, 2003, 09:07:58 AM »
Would you like to see the ball manufacturers start producing ball with one of their strongest cores and weeker covers instead of floodong the market with all these Particle Balls.

For instance;
a ProGlide covered X-Factor
a PowrKoil LS covered Inferno
a SuperFlex Pearl covered Throttle
etc.
I am sure you all have had some ideas like this off your own.

The reason I feel this way is because I have come across a lot more med to dry conditions than med to heavy and all the manufacturers have at least 3 oilers out. Another reason for this is I personally think it is much easier to adjust to under/late hooking than over/early hooking.

Hmm, I don't know.  A stronger core would get the ball moving before the coverstock catches, so it'd be ready to take off when it catches dry.  Pretty much like the Buzzsaws with the weaker coverstocks, they've all got strong cores.

I think a Storm Power Charge might be just what you are looking for as well as the Sonic X solid.  Monster Slayer is probably eveva stronger core and an even weaker cover.  Have yet to try any of these, would love to, but the 3 balls I carry now are getting the job done.  My guess is the Power Charge is the strongest and might fit in my arsenal for med to med light.  It just might bump a ball out of my bag by Christmas.
