So, I was wondering, how often does everyone practice? Not including league nights. Myself, I like to practice at least once or twice.

Until school is out for the summer, I have to settle for practice on Saturday and Sunday. Teaching in Middle School, we don't get out early enough for me to get to the center much before they shut down to oil for leagues. Weekends are dependent on if there is something already happening on the weekends.

Once school is out, I try to get out and practice at least 3 - 4 days. Each practice session is 4 - 8 games.

They oil the lanes BEFORE leagues at your house? WOW what a concept. Our lanes gets oiled oh about 9 am and we get whats left over. Our league starts at 7:30, they put 2 kids to open bowl on 1 of them at 7:00.

As far as practice. With 3 boys under 10, every chance I get.

LOL yes, they stop all open play at 5PM to oil the lanes. No open play until leagues are on the lanes and then only if there are lanes available, which isn't often.

I bowl league once, twice or three times a week (depending on what nights I sub) and practice Thursday nights at a house near me that lets women bowl free after 10 pm. The lanes are garbage and it's good for me to bowl on something a little tougher.

I Practice one or twice a week usually other then league. I work at my center so usually i practice before work or something. They shut down our lanes at 4:30 - 5:00 too oil for leagues as well.

yea i normally try to practice three days a week but lately all ive bowled on is a two day old senior league shot...a three day old ladies league shot...and on lanes were the apporaches became the challenge...makes it hard to do anything or practice

I know once I recover from my foot surgery and am able to wear shoes rather than the cast i've worn the last 5 years i willl start a pracice schedule of 3 games every other day.

once a week serious training... not fooling around and playing high scores... but trying to improve my game and learn advance techniques ... like hand adjustment or improve basics (which still are not 100% imho) etc.
Learning to adjust fast enough and make the right decision.

In the winter Im pretty much in the center practicing every night when im not bowling league. Not so much if at all in the summer time because of golf.

During league season don't practice at all. I don't get off in time. During the summer the kids bowl at an AMF house and get passes for three free games a day, so some days I take them some days I just practice by myself.

Usually it's been once in a while, but lately it's been three to four times a week because my game has tanked. The problem is that practice hasn't quite translated to league.

I bowl league on monday at 930 then practice from 1130-2am then wens i practice from 9-12am. every other Saturday is the tournaments that we have here locally that i bowl in for more practice...sometimes go out there for other things but those are the days im out there consistently.

Unless you consider goofing off for a few games after league or pot bowling a bit after league, I never practice. Hopefully I'll be able to get in some serious practice over the summer in order to prepare for a potential regional or two.
