Rick Wunder this one is for you

Does anyone know what happened to Tommy Jones in the 4th game in the round of 32? The bracket on the PBA site says he shot a 17 for the whole game. He came back and won the match, and didn't break 200 in any game.

That must be a tough pair of lanes he was on.

I was there but didn't see his match.  I would assume there was a tie and that there were two balls thrown before the tie was broken.

It seemed like the pair Amletto and Tim Mack were on in the round of 16 was no picnic either, I think in the six games there were only 3 200s between the two of them.

I figured it had to be a typo or something weird happened. They corrected the scores on the site now and the 185/163 scores were duplicated it was only a six game match.

Better luck next week Tommy keep up the good fight.

That match must have been just as exciting as watching paint dry!

I agree, the only thing worse than leaving something to shoot at every frame is watching someone else leave something to shoot at every frame.

The scores seemed either really high or really low this week.

CoachJim,
Sorry I didn't get back to you on this.  I had to go off and bowl Friday night at another center, so I missed the round of 32 matches.  I took a copy of the bracket with me and called to find out who won later.  It turns out that my bracket was not even correct.  I haven't been on the web since Thursday.

I also missed the round of 16, since I was attending senior day at the football game at my son's high school.  He is a senior in the marching band and was recognized, along with the seniors on the football team and cheerleading squad.

I went back to the center Saturday evening and kept score for the round of eight.

Once again, I'm sorry for not getting back to you, CoachJim.

No problem, Rick, I figured it was a website error anyway. I best wishes to your son.
