Author Topic: Sawbones is in the Hospital (Read 7212 times)

Dad has had some discomfort for several days and hasn't been able to go the the bathroom. Friday, he went to a doctor and was told the go on in to the hospital and have some tests run. Well, knowing dad, he refused and went home. On Sunday morning, the pain was too great for him and he was taken to the ER. They did a barium enama and can see sever blockage and will be having a scope this morning to find out what has caused the blockage and then will decide where to go from here.

He's being sedated for the pain and is really out of it and sleeps most of the time.

Please keep Dad in your thoughts and prayers.

Hope all goes well and a speedy recovery is in your dad's future. I think you can tell from the number of posts that your dad is certainly well thought of. I'll look forward to seeing some of his posts in the near future. Try to make the best of the situation and best wishes for the holiday season in this trying time.
