Storm going forward. Do you hoard stuff?
« on: April 02, 2022, 07:48:34 PM »
Thought this maybe worth while as a separate discussion. So SPI appears to have a major issue across all products that they are having to fix going forward. Likely chemical changes and hardness changes.

When EBI was bought out by Brunswick i started buying and hoarding a lot of EBI stuff because i loved some of the reactions and was unsure how long it would take if ever for Brunswick to produce the same reactions.  I also did the same for Track years ago when they were bought by EBI.

Going forward it could be similar with SPI and just curious for those who love the Zen, Helios, IQ, Hyroad or others besides "the 6" that maybe different going forward. Will you start stashing these now just in case?

It will be interesting to see what happens to the Hy-roads.  They were approved years ago when the hardness minimum was still 72D.  Balls approved at 72D can no longer be manufactured after 7/31/22.  I am guessing they are going to be discontinued and replaced?

I did this when 900 closed up shop and the Utah fanatics weren't keen to it yet.

Got so many balls off auction for $50 something a pop. Some had free shipping too....

In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???
