Strong Pearl Reactive
« on: September 18, 2003, 02:35:20 AM »

Who makes the strongest pearl reactive?  I'm using an Ebonite Savage Pearl but is doesn't seem to have a very hard finish.  I would like to stick to Columbia, Hammer, Ebonite or Storm equipment.  I'm a senior bowler with slower speed and average revs.  The house I'm bowling in has really dry
backends and light oil in the heads.

Any help would be appreciated.

at a recent demo days I rolled the savage flip. it is a strong ball. The core definitly stands up quickly when hitting the dry.

also the blade Pearl with some polish.

I also assume you want a big hook. if not the V2 dry is the ticket.

The Silver Streak Pearl is a strong reactive (Roto Grip)

I advise you the X-Factor! It's 1500grit polish and it's very aggressive down the lane! I have never seen a reactive pearl ball with this monster backend! Also the pinaction is awesome!

I think it's the best ball ever made!

I'd guess the Silver Streak Pearl has more back end on medium-light oil,
The X-Factor has more backend on medium to medium light oil, and
the Inferno has the most backend on medium oil.

In my area, the Inferno is king!

(No, I don't use one.)

You did not mention Brunswick but what about a Raging Red Fuze? They are available on ebay for about $60 plus shipping. I too, am a senior bowler and have been very impressed with the one I purchased! Good Luck!

The two balls that I have used that were/are strong are the Cherry Bomb Pearl and the SS Pearl.
