summer time slump ???

Last winter my avg was around 195ish was throwing big series imo 720+ then i seemed to slacked off for the summer, yah my avg is 211 but havent had any big sets, i was throwing a few games after my league they said my timing was off i was over turing the ball all kinds of stuff that i never did before. yah tonight was a 467 series LOL thats 166 pins off avg for total. I was missing spares, dident hit my mark tiwce in a row does any one have soem sugestions for me to get back on track.

I know its not the balls but ever since i swtiched from dynothane i havent been pounding out the big games like i used to. seems like my game is messed up alot but i dono what it is well see thrusday cant hit my mark at all. maybe because its summer

Look at it this way, every new frame is a chance for redemption.

I've always bowled under the mentality of not looking at my scores.  It's amazing how much better you'll bowl, you have more time to focus your attention on your next shot, and pick yourself back up.  Plus nerves never will kick in, cause all your thinking is: try my best to strike on this shot, and if i don't try my best to convert that leave.  You'll always keep an open mindset and it blocks out distractions.  I know some bowlers that flat out get caught up in the moment when they know they are doing really well, and end up taking a huge cr^p.  I try to erase every previous frame from my mind, so i can have a fresh start on each shot.  This may take some time to master, but once you do, the skys the limit
