Sunset Strip
« on: March 06, 2016, 08:39:05 AM »
Big Tournament coming up, never bowled on this pattern. My speed is 14-15, med revs...I can play straight up the boards or play just inside 3rd arrow and swing it a bit...depending on the lanes. For this pattern..Is it best for a lot of ball surface with a pin down drilling? My pin down balls are Guru Master, Black Widow Legend and DV8 Vandal...Pin up...Wrecker, Deadly Aim, Tag, Jackal.

I like the pattern, I usually start out with a low flare ball with surface then switch to something aggressive

eg bagger

I've bowled on Sunset Strip a few times, if it is broken down properly you can play it like a house shot. I am bowling on it in a couple weeks as well. I plan to start with an old Arson at 240 to burn a line and then play in that track with either an IQ Tour Fusion or a Wrecker. A little surface on the ball helps if you tug it into the heavy strip of oil so the balls faces up off the end of the pattern.
