The Foul Line Buzzer
« on: July 23, 2010, 03:42:19 PM »
This is just a general question to get everyone opinions on the foul line buzzer.  Does anybody believe they are accurate most of the time and knows what really sets them off.  I have seen bowlers personally not cross the line and the buzzer goes off and also seen people cross the line and it doesnt go off.  Last week I was bowling and the buzzer went off after I released the ball and the only thing is did different was place the ball lower on the lane.  When the buzzer sounded I stopped and looked @ where I was standing and I wasnt near the line.  Before I moved any part of my body back r anything I asked some people to look and make sure I crossed the line.  Needless to say my teammate said if it goes off its a foul and then I lost it.  I had a 5 bagger reduced to nothing because of this thing.

Whats the real ruling on the buzzer situation?
