Broken Vertigo
« on: October 03, 2006, 05:10:23 PM »
Hello all. Well I had an interesting thing happen to me tonight. I was in the midst of throwing my Vertigo (my 3rd ball tonight). Threw it 5 times and when I went to bowl my 6th time there was this hole about the size of a fist that was now staring at me. It looked like someone hit it with a sledgehammer. Well since it looks like the Vertigo is no longer available I need some help on what would be similar ball to replace it. Preferably a Storm ball. Thanks.

If you dont want a particle ball, the Diablo or the thunderstruck will be the closest match.

Wow!  It sounds like you hit something back there in the pit or something.

I sure hope that the bowling alley is paying for that, because I sure wouldnt take it to well if one of my balls came back like that!

I believe the Passion and the Double Agent to be stronger than the Vertigo. Trifecta.

Heres what ballingballinfo.com ball comparison says.if it helps.

The following balls (currently in production) are similar to Storm Vertigo

(Please Note: Ball Comparison searches for bowling balls that are comparable to the original ball in both reaction and design. Although there may be other balls that have similar reactions, if they are not constructed like the original ball they will not appear on the list. Thanks for the help. I had thought of the Passion. I do have one but I have it drilled to hook out of the house because of a problem with one of the alleys. I'll probably get another one and have it drilled more like my Vertigo. Again Thanks
