UFO turned color
« on: March 16, 2015, 08:22:01 PM »
I went to the storage to get some bowling supplies and found the UFO polish turned color other than green. Like a very light blue color... Is this still good? It's a new bottle I didn't know I had. I still have a 1/4th full bottle that I'm using and it's still its original color.
Does a round object have sides? I say yes, pizza has triangles..

Personally I wouldn't hesitate to use it.

Shake it up well, as you normally would before using.

My guess is that whatever they use for "color" is one of those "inert" ingredients that can change over time depending on how the product is stored (temperature, etc.). The properties (ingredients) that actually polish the ball should remain true over a reasonable length of time, in my opinion.

The slip agent is an organic compounds according to Valentino. Not sure in which environment you kept the UFO bottle. I'll mention this to Kevin and see if he'll reply to this thread. (Maybe it would have been better to post it in Coverstock Preparation forum.

The coloring of the products as well as the scent can change over time without effecting the performance of the active ingredients. As Notclay said, the coloring and fragrance are inert and really only used for esthetics.

The polish will still work as needed....just shake it up really well.

Thanks to everyone who answered before me, I need to visit ballreviews more often.
