Using 3 fingers and the thumb????
« on: September 11, 2003, 10:06:54 PM »
Was talking to a gentleman the other day who uses his index middle, and ring finger along with a thumb hole. He stated that since switching 3years ago his average has increased over 40 pins. He explained that he gets more revs, better control, and he has less strain on the hands wrist and forearm.

Just wondering if anybody else has tried this, and what were the benefits if any?

i dont know about the more revs, but it has to be easier to hang onto the ball.

i know with the pinky, ring and middle finger, you dont get as many revs, maybe with the index you can?????

That grip will make you spin the ball more. It will work better if the lanes are dry and/or the heads are dry.

If you want more roll on the ball, use your pinky finger instead of your index finger. =:^D
