TOO MANY BOWLING BALLS -- NEED HELP CHOOSING ARSENAL!!!
« on: May 15, 2005, 03:08:46 PM »
There comes a time when one has gone too far and fallen into this loop that is into purchasing bowling balls. I always seem to get one every other week; at least that is what I am told by my friends. I am going to list every bowling ball I currently have...Any advice from everybody out there in cyber space that knows bowling would be very helpful, especially if you are on staff with whatever company; if not, that is fine too, just please help me pick an arsenal. I'm wanting 3 balls and my spare ball...Thanks again!

Bowling Balls I currently possess:

Ebonite XXcel
Track Animal
Track Phenom Unleashed
Columbia 300 Formula
Columbia 300 Ricochet Rebound
Brunswick Intense Inferno
Brunswick Classic Zone
Brunswick Impulse Zone
Storm Hot Rod Hybrid

Sparebowler138,

I'm sorry buddy, I sold my Classic, Impulse, Formula, and XXcel to one guy who wanted all of them after rolling them! Otherwise, we could have made a deal. I do though have an Intense Inferno I'm thinking about selling if there are any takers for that. Also, if anybody knows of where I can find a New In Box Dry Heat 15 pounds, please let me know!

Alright Matt,

I think I have it figured out..from top to bottom I will start with the most aggressive to the least aggressive from Track:

Rule GP2 -- Heavy Hooker, out hooks everything in the bag

Animal -- Compared it to the Rule GP2, the Animal is smoother on the backend, not as aggressive, was not expecting it to outhook the RGP2 though.

Phenom Unleashed -- Still has backend supremacy power in my bag. Although the Rule GP2 I could play deeper and get the same carry, if I think I will not have enough control to adjust to the RGP2 I can always bring the Phenom Unleashed out and have a great mid-line reaction. Also, I get great mixer strikes with this ball!

X-Ception 5.0 -- Decided that I'm going to purchase one of these because it will be the only out of box polished asymmetric equipment I'll own.

Slash -- Picked a dull symmetric, the guy on Track staff here in town said it was exactly like the Triton Elite of old except with its dull surface had a smooth backend reaction, not all that jumpy...have this one on order

Heat -- This will basically be my dry lane ball unless I can find someone who has a 15 Pound Dry Heat, so if you know of anybody or you do have one that is NEW IN BOX, contact me by leaving a message here in the forum or by contacting me here.

Well, I feel this will be quite an arsenal. Any thoughts? I'm always open to suggestions...

thats not so bad....i guess, i have:

x-factor ace
x-factor xtreme
high rev
real deal (was actually given to me)
xception
and another xtreme (laid out differently)

all brought since the beginning of jan. up to now
ball used the most(mostly for practice): high rev and the ace
the other ones i only use for league play with the real deal having the most games on it around to 25...

Favortie Companies: Track & Hammer
