I will e-mail them when I get home to see if they would be willing and able to spend some time with me, both to figure out all my info. (ball speed, rev rate)and then help me choose equipment to work with my game.

Thanks for your input

I know Dave (Saw Mill) lived very close in Barstow and recently lived in Victorville.  He would know.  But if you are going to Victorville, you are only 2 1/2 hours from Vegas and I would recommend going there either to the Orleans or Sam's Town.  But I know many others have their favorites.

That was my original plan, but I will have the family with me and didnt want to subject them to waiting for dad. If you all are saying I will get better service in Vegas, then it might be that the family will have to deal with it, on the other hand, if the shop in Victorville offers equal service then that option will work better for me on this trip.

I really want to hear from everyone on this issue so I can make the best overall choice.

I believe that Dave (Saw Mill) buys and gets his balls drilled by Doug Sterner at the opposite end of the USA map, (NY) but I could be mistaken.

I did not have any equipment drilled at the Victorville pro shop, though it is extremely small.  But size doesn't matter

How old are the kids?  If they are older then 5 you could drop the kids and the Mrs off at Circus Circus and then go on to the Orleans about 5 minutes away.  They also have a kids area and a six ple movie theatre at the Orleans.  At Sam's Town it is beautiful and a nice inside and has ice cream parlor.  I know that Saw Mill use to drive to vegas to get his bowling balls drilled, but again, I did not have any work done to my bowling balls in Victorville.  I just went there because my son wsa having a junior State tournament there.
