warm weather / cool weather
« on: October 02, 2013, 07:48:00 AM »
Anybody else's fingers swell when its warm then get back to normal when its cool? This summer my fingers seemed to swell, so I had the pro shop open the fingers slightly. Now that its getting cooler, I have to put tape on my fingers to make the fit right. It doesnt feel bad with the tape. I dont like the vac u grips so thats not an option. Anybody else have to do this? I know I can shim the grips but the tape actually feels like I get better grip.

I tend to have my thumb opened to where it is comfortable with Valentino Franken Tape over the summer, and tape up further if needed in the winter.

I have the same problem , with the swelling of my fingers to the thumb. Sometimes they change like night and day in a three game set. I use vise it thumb with an extra bigger slug for when swelling occurs. As for fingers, I buy grips in bulk online in a couple of different sizes. I try to time the swelling of my fingers, usually when the weather changes. (winter-summer, summer-winter) Thats my system I hope it helps.
