What do you accomplish this fall season..
« on: May 07, 2012, 08:02:46 PM »
This season for me was all about trying to get back into the game bowl a few tournaments and the most memorable moment was throwing my plastic ball 1 entire game and scoring 216...  That was my best game ever using my plastic ball..

I can finally stop wasting momey on low dollar balls that want move....

One of the houses in our association had a plastic ball tournament this year with the lanes being oiled accordingly........less length and volume of oil. The results were different from leagues or local tournaments. The players who MADE THE BEST SHOTS fared the best.

Last season was rather disappointing - my official average dropped by almost 10 pins, but that had various reasons, ranging from mental issues to foreign houses.

Anyway, I made with a 276 my highest official game to date, and also improved my personal high series record (710). There's both room for improvement, and also for better expoitation of potential as it is.

I had two 800's this past season and that will be hard to repeat.  So I think my goal will be more average oriented.  I went back to back 226 seasons and I really feel I have a 230+ season in me.  It all comes down to concentration and focus for me, so that's what i'll be working on in my PBAX summer league and over the fall / winter.

I wanted to have high average in my home center. Going into the final week of league on Thursday I'm 4 pins clear of my closest competitor.

Had a fairly good Fall.  My best series was the 867 I shot a couple of weeks ago but I also had three 300s and two 299s to go with a second 800.  But with all that said, I just shot my first Dutch 200.

I had a good 2011-2012 season with a few accomplishments. I bowled 5, 300 games (last year I had 1) with 3 in one league; 2, 800 series (814 & 802, which was my 3rd career 802); and, I was high average in my one league with 231.  I want to thank Brunswick and DV8 for the great equipment that they produce!

After a two year layoff my average suffered this year but I threw my first official 300 in a state tournament and I was also part of the doubles team that won the event. I even won a local five game sweeper tournament. So my hopes are even higher for next year.

Shot my 5th 300, but the first in over 10 years lol, with a high set of 765. Also scored a staff spot with Seismic, so all in all not a bad season, actually best in recent memory lol..

I had a good season.......at one house I averaged 231 with a 300 game an a 809 series. At the other house I averaged 225 with a 300 game and a 794 series. I was uneven in the local tournaments I bowled in. Shot over 700 in the team portion of our city tournament but didn't do well in the singles and doubles. Missed the senior singles and doubles due to the flu. Finished 2nd in our senior masters after leading the tournament for two days. Had to withdraw from our masters invitational tournament due to an injury. Shot 300/774 in our senior mixed doubles tournament but my partner had a bad day.

It was an enjoyable season, in which I managed to take high average honors in my senior travelling league.  Highs for the season were 298/777.

average went from 201 to 210.  Still lots of room for improvement
Those who can't bowl, bowl with two hands.
