Bupkis.  But the drill press didn't come cheap.

The shop here charges $45 plus inserts and thumb slug if desired.  The one in Tupelo is about $65 for an Internet ball with inserts and thumb slug.  I think the place in Corinth is $45 with inserts and thumb slug, $30 without.

my house shop goes 40 for the blank drill then 5 a grip and 8 for a slug which i think is just down right stupid, the blank drill should be a blank price of 40 bucks, i mean didnt i already just buy the ball?

so anyway, i go to a different better guy and he does it for 20, so i pay 20 bucks flat.

I really like the guy I've been going to, but it's costing me a lot to get stuff drilled, in the neighborhood of 80 bucks with grips.  Maybe I'll see if I can get a multi ball discount or something.

I think a lot of shops will "adjust" the price of the ball to include drilling.  It's hard to say how much was drilling and how much was the ball around here if you buy from the shop.  The local guy (who's not all that great) wants about $240 for a Big Kahuna, but that would include drilling and inserts/slug.  Probably he wouldn't even charge that much, I could have it out the door for under $200, tax included, but the price on the display is $239.99.

I pay anywhere form bupkis to $30.  Depends on how much the driller has to do - complete redrill with slug, new blank, whatever, or maybe the phase of the moon.  I do get a cheaper rate than most because between buying used stuff, redoing old stuff and the odd new ball I probably am my drillers biggest customer.

25 bucks not matter what full plug, blank drills whatever, no one does the volume i do on the west coast. The Ebonite rep told me there is a guy in Texas drilling as many balls as me but no one else, i have slowed down to about 2-3 a month recently from around 12-15 area.
