What does everyone think about this???
« on: January 09, 2007, 01:53:19 PM »
I just won this auction

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=017&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=270077811979&rd=1&rd=1

Well, the seller will not sell it to me, saying that it was a mistake. Maybe it was, but that's not my fault. Should I pursue this, or just let it go. Not trying to cause any trouble, but the persom immediatly sent me a message saying it was a "mistake" and there was no freakin way he was following thru. I told him, Fine, post me positive feedback, and I'll let it go. He refuused that also. I'm not the type to post negative feedback unless I get screwed over. I didn't get screwed over here, I'm out no money at all.

i was ready to end this last nite. why do i have to give you positive feedback? there was no transaction. no feedback. it was a mistake. if you really want to end this i will send you a mutual agreement on ebay that we did not complete this transaction. that'll end it once & for all. we can take this thread down & go about our happy ways

Man, what Drama. You;d think the Hose has something to do with this.

In all seriousness, I have no intention of leaving the seller negative feedback, as I have stated numerous times in this thread already. I'm not out anything!!  I just wanted to seller to apologize for his actions/messages he sent me once the auction ended. I did tell him If he left me +feedback, I'd leave him +feedback. ONCE HE REFUSED TO DO SO, I THEN TOLD HIM, I would contact ebay then. It would really help if he told the whole story. Heck, I'd have dropped it last night and never posted this if he'd acted like an adult instead of a 4yr. old. All he had to do was message me saying. "Hey man, I'm soory, but that auction was a mistake." Not "there no way I'm selling you that ball" or whatever it was he said. I contacted ebay, I'll let them deal with it.

Oh, and for whomever said I was gonna turn this around for profit. WRONG!!
I am getting equipment for our league to raffle off at seasons end.

this is verbatim...

my 1st message to you was " this was obviously a mistake "

your reply was " ummm, i dont see where that's my problem "

you were not going to let it go...  you were trying to take advantage. plain & simple

Like I said, if you'd COOPERATE, this would all ready be a non issue. It would have been done last night and this thread would never exist. I have a 100% feedback rating on ebay, and have had numerous transactions on this site, If I said I was gonna post feedback for you after you left it for me, than I'd do it. I DO know about RESPECT, and you, my friend have none!

player, Rev_O.

Please.

Allow me.

Steve, what, exactly, will make this issue "go away" from your standpoint?

player, come on along with this.  Let's see if I can arbitrate a solution.

sounds like an honest mistake.  and if it's true that within minutes he tried to fix it,  well to me that says,  it was an honest mistake.
maybe you can work out a deal for this item.

Steve, upon receipt of the e-mail, please lock this thread, let's enjoy our free beverage, and move on with our lives, ok?

player, I don't need to remind you(but cannot help from doing so), please be mindful of future auctions.  As much as we all know this was a mistake, it could have been avoided.  And, it could have been a LOT worse.

that;s fine with me. It takes away the chance of me getting a bogus feedback(+or-), and he gets his auction fees refunded. WIn Win situation in my book!

Do you have to actually have been involved in the auction to get a free drink?

I've been known to be a discrimnating buyer(aka, cheap prick).  In this case, I'll afford just about everyone the chance for a freebie.
