the first ball i bought myself was a XXX X-factor Pearl. It worked pretty well. My first non-plastic ball was a wonderful Shaodow urethane, i miss that ball. lol aww memories brought up by these posts

Ebonite Nitro Urethane. Man that ball was sweet. Won me the city tournament singles division that year.

A 14. lbs. Blue/Green Sparkle Target Zone, conventional drilling.

My first fingertip ball came shortly thereafter, a 14 lbs. Power Groove Plum Pearl Proactive, about 3 years ago.
