Whats being used today on TV?
« on: November 01, 2003, 09:43:18 PM »
lol...well I just like to know what people use.  I surely don't base purchases on others performance but do like to know, and can't always recognize them

Match 1
Wilson - ? no idea...something black or purple by columbia
Waliczek - Red Predator, and then X-Zone(?)

Match 2
Couch - V2(i think)
Scroggins - V2 Strong

Match 3
Wilson - still no idea
Smith - dont know much about hammer

At one point in time, there was a Savage on the rack.  Wasn't paying close enough attention to see if it was actually what Couch was using...

Almost appeared that there was a "Flipside" logo on the side of Wilson's ball the one time but the color scheme didn't match anything but the Jekyll that I have seen. I have not seen any of the new Throttles in action though so it's tough to say.

As for Smith....started with a Diesel (may have been a dark Sling Blade but I don;t think so) and ended with a Blade Solid I do believe.

Couch...was throwing a V-2 solid but the burgundy ball with fleck in it at the end for the one lane I can't say.

Couch used a Puma most of the time in the different rounds.  His look was better, but he can't use a discontinued ball on TV.

I think Couch was using a Conquest most of the title game.  He switched to a V2 solid on the left lane later.

I missed the telecast today.

1. Who won?

2. Is there a rerun on ESPN 2 and if so, when? It used to be on Monday, but my guide doesn't show anything for Monday.

There's no way Couch was throwing a Savage Flip, it's silver and black, no ball he threw looked remotely close.  Everything else that Hoss said was correct.  I'm looking at the tape right now.  I can't clearly see what his right lane ball was, but it looks to be A Savage, but not a Flip.
