What do you think?

I don't know how many of you have had the opportunity to bowl on wood lanes with Guardian synthetic overlay on the heads with light oil but many in my league have the same question. Is the answer to beating this problem the ball with a certain drilling or surface surface surface? What's your thoughts?

Loft.  The last time I bowled on Guardian, once the lanes broke down, if I was able to loft past the dots on a line drive as opposed to an arc, I killed.  Loft allows you to use a reasonably strong ball because it won't burn up in the first few feet.

Bowl on this all summer, every summer for past 3 years.
YOu need polished ball (or ball speed) to get thru the heads AND you need something to get thru OR around the eventual (guarranteed with Guardian) carrydown.

Also depending on how many bowlers, using how strong a surface playing the track area, you need to be prepared to move inside or start way inside with a bigger hooking ball with lots of backend. A friend used a Saga or a Mystic
and did very well by starting deep and usually going around the carrydown in the (sometimes 2nd,) 3rd and 4th games.

Thanks guys for the help. I going to try to go with a surface change first.
