Where do you Rank in Average?
« on: April 07, 2009, 10:58:35 PM »
With the current league bowling season about to conclude or for those of you who's leagues are already done, where do/did you rank as far as average in your bowling center: Top 10, Bottom 10 middle of the pack?

Just curious as to how others on this site rank in their respective leagues.

With about 4-5 weeks left I currently rank 4th with a 229 average, the top 2 guys are battling it out with averages hovering around 238-240. 240 would break our state record(239.xxx), which both have a legitimate chase at breaking.

I'm somewhere between 5th and 9th.  Finished at 215, High in the center is about 230 (by a guy who is getting his card next month), then a couple in the 220-229 range, then 3 or 4 of us in the mid to high teens.  Given the ease of the shot it's a pretty low scoring house, mainly due to twister pins.

on mondays i am 2nd out of about 40 with 212 (first is a teammate with 223)
tuesdays i am 6th out of about 90 with 210
tuesday late i am 2nd out of i dunno 40 or 50 depending on how many show up with a 214, albeit in half a season.
not sure what my composite average is between all leagues including subbing but i would guess 211ish, probably 4th or 5th in the center.

My Ball driller, Ed Moores ended the year at 245...
A little FIGJAM for him.
8 - 800s, 7 - 300s, 12 series over 770.
All with Hammer/Ebonite equipment.
I'm surprised his achievements aren't noted by the company?

I am currently 2nd in the house at 229, but then I realized that I'm a donk to care what I average on house China.

I carry 200 into different leagues in the same house. Wed nite men is bone dry and I barley make half way cut as top is 240, My Thur. league is oil to 42ft heavy in the middle lite from 0 to 15 in most cases. I am in the top 5 with a lot of the same bowlers in my mens league. In my house oil seperates the pretenders from the contenders.

Im number 78 of 328 at 192. But this is in the whole County. Average is irrelevant. I bowl in a "though" house, and if you go to the next house which have the great wall of china on their lanes the average is about 30pins higher over there.
Bowlers that average over 215 at their home alley shots barley 185 in avg when they goes to other houses.

I had high average in the house with 233. All my other leagues, i had high average in with 227, 226, and 221. Also, with two weeks left in 3 leagues, I have a chance to hit 40 700s for the season. That'd blow my mind.
