The dual angle system is most accurate. It is also the most repeatable.

How is dual angle the most accurate?  If you have all the specs needed any of the systems will accurately pinpoint the layout.  For example, a 5" x 4" with the pin 3 1/2" above the midline or, as an alternative, with a 2" pin buffer (and I don't mean to say that these two layouts are the same).  There is only one layout that meets all these parameters.  And the same layout can be specified in all the other layout systems, including dual angle.  Now, if you meant that the dual angle system helps to match a customer with the layout that suits his game best I will agree with that.

To answer the original question - I can use any of the systems.  Which one I use depends on the customer and the ball being layed out.  If the customer has selected a layout he likes from the drill sheet, I use whatever system the drill sheet specifies (if I don't think the layout suits the customer I will tell him and suggest alternatives, but ultimately it's his decision).  Dual angle is probably the most impressive, you end up with lines drawn all over the ball, so it looks really complicated, almost magic.  --  JohnP
