« on: February 10, 2010, 04:35:01 AM »
Which of these balls would you suggest i get to compliment my Mutant when it becomes to strong? I've done alot of research and question asking and these are what I've narrowed it down to.

- Cell Pearl
- Playmaker
- Onyx Vibe
- Reign

which ball and why? thanks!

I would say a Virtual Energy,  Since the ball you have is more of a heavy oil ball.  Then if you still need something tamer, a Reign...Or the Onyx Vibe...Or a Freeze.

All depends in what type of reaction works best for you.  Seeing you have a mutant cell that would tend to believe you like a mid lane strong break point ball on fresh.  When they break down the logical choice to get thru heads which is why you cant use mutant anymore in my opinion would be a reign and still would give you the back end reaction you are looking for.  If you like a mix of midlane and back end go with cell pearl. Onyx vibe is a control/arc piece which is great if this reaction suits your style, its all what you think works best for you.  They are all good balls in their own right, hope this helps make your decision.

Agree with all of this. It all comes down to what kind of motion you want to see when you switch down from the Mutant.

I guess what im looking for is a ball i can play inside with (not really deep or anything) that will get through the heads and mids clean and have a strong backend move. i find with the mutant it will start reving up early and loose its angularity. i hope this helps. Im kind of leaning towards a cell pearl...

Cell Pearl and Playmaker are both top notch bowling balls.

A Reign will do that just fine
Also a Nomad Pearl will with less of a snap on the backend that the Reign has
both are similar in length down the lane,
and very close in overall movement but the Nomad is just not as snappy on the backend
