Which squad do you prefer?

When you go to larger tournaments, there are ususaly different squads at different times of the day. Which do you prefer, whether its morning, noon, or after noon? I defenently bowl a lot better if I go at the earliest squad in the morning, whenever that is.

First squad, unless they are reapplying conditioner between squads then it doesn't really matter to me.

Exactly. I am one of those people who goes to bed at 11 and wakes up at 4 in the morning. And I bowl horribly on used lanes, gotta have fresh oil...

I generally like a second squad after an oiling run.

Having a squad on in front seems to take out any over/under reaction, carry down, and often the lanes have opened up some. But being the second squad doesn’t make them so dry they become unplayable for me.

My second choice would be the first squad.

I prefer morning squads.  I seem to bowl better.  Especially, if there isn't fresh oil between squads.

First squad unless they are re-oiling then noon squad not too late in the day, but you are able to come in wonder around and see how others of similar style are playing the lane for the good or bad.

I like the later squad, when you get old like me it takes a little time to get the body loosened up!  And I have no need to get up early!

I prefer first and second squads, although I have bowled well on third squads also. I seem to be more of a morning and early afternoon person when it comes to tournaments, and that's where I've posted my best scores.
