Who holds the record for.....
« on: August 05, 2004, 02:57:36 AM »
My last post was answered by 2 nice dude quickly.

Any record for fastest response to a post?

Or longest post ever??? ( I do tend to ramble, curious if anyone else is worse)

Funniest post you remember??

Fastest reply goes either to me (*giggle*) or a_ak57. Longest post Im not sure, probably sawbones. Funniest Im not sure, but you hold the record for most posts. At least now, a_ak57 used to hold that record.

Longest post ever would probably be from LuckyLefty he has had some very long and detailed "novels" on here about ball/drilling tech.

If I wouldn't read the others, I'd probably post twice as many new threads.
My first time in a mental ward, guy told my hubby, she sure is FAST, how do you keep up?

I went through a tough time getting stuff going on my emial list, I bought a book on how to start conversations. Dummest book I ever bought.

Yep first time back in 81, hubby visited on our wedding anniversary, they left him in special, I hit him for not taking me home.

I ain't proud of it but I don't hide it, I've already made some friends and lost them when I got weird on them.

was in restraints 3 out of 4 visits!!! When I get PARANOID, I slugs folks who scare me, wrote up as homicidal but in my mind at them times I'm defending myself.

Took 6 dudes to get me into restraints one time when we was into bodybuilding.
I loved body building, especaiily when new guys came in and wanted to use same weights as me and they wouldn't let them.

Now, all I got is my body weight......around 250.

I'd love to be a stand-up comic, but that kind of attention would flip me out.

Most paranoid people think they are so special everyone is watching them.

Now for a little info on mania...... my type mania gets mistaken for being drunk or on drugs by people who don't understand it. Drive folks nuts by talking too much.

Least on the boards, you guys can click ignore on me.

I don't understand all types of mental illness but I am good at explaining to family members with newly diagnose bi-polar people what to expect.

Hardest thing is to teach a MANIC person to keep taking their meds or ask for new ones when they have a problem. Most manics like feeling that way.

I love low mania attacks but I now when I reach the point of not able to stick with one thing, can't sleep, or talk way too much I need new meds!!!

Doc gave me new ones yesterday. When they kick in, I'll probably be around, I love this board but my posting will drop off a bit.

Interent buddies sometimes know I have a problem before I do, best internet buddies tell me they think I'm borderline.

I hate boards or mailing lists for mental patients, most are one big pity party or anti-socials. Plus if you hang with dudes, you become more like them.

ON THAT NOTE: Catch last week's Monk!! Mental illness is not contagious!!!
Other FLIPSIDE! 'Mental types who aren't around normal people never learn what normal is or try to get normal. I've met folks, as younng as 21 in the system happy to be in a day care and don't want more of a life!! To me that is very sad.

One of these days I'll write my book!! Lot of been there done that!!!!

I was born in 81, if my mom spent time in the ward that probably would've been my fault too.  (along with everything else )
