Would a Resurgence at 4 1/4" pin to PAP, pin over ring go too long on heavier/longer patterns? My Virtual Gravity with the same pin position does. But I know the Resurgence is earlier rolling. I think my Virtual goes too long because of my lower revs and good axis rotation. Would the Resurgence at 1000 or even 500 abralon work?

My Resurgence with the pin in the ring finger goes longer than I expected. I would put the pin below your ring at 1000 or 2000.
