Six Stops Remain in 2003 to Earn Spot in ABC/b.line World Team Challenge Grand Championships

August 20, 2003

The final swing of the 2003 ABC/b.line World Team Challenge gets underway the first weekend in September. With six events remaining, competitors still have a chance to earn a spot in the Grand Championships, which will be held in Las Vegas on Dec. 7-10.

Teams that win each of the remaining six events earn airfare and lodging for the Grand Championships. In addition, teams finishing second or third in any event are eligible to buy its way into the Grand Championships.

Currently in its 11th season, the Team Challenge provides ABC members with an innovative, fun and competitive team bowling experience and the opportunity to compete for thousands of dollars in prize money.

The Team Challenge provides the ultimate in team competition featuring traditional and Baker formats. (The Baker format requires each member of the team to bowl two frames in one game to combine for one score.)

There are six stops remaining in this year’s march to the Grand Championships: Lakewood, Colo. (Sept. 6-7); Seminole, Fla. (Sept. 20-21); Columbus, Ohio (Sept. 27-28); Dallas (Oct. 4-5); Mechanicsburg, Pa. (Oct. 18-19); and Richland, Wash. (Oct. 25-26).

The entry fee is $600 per team. Entry information may be obtained by calling 800-514-2695, ext. 3415.
