Worst game thrown by you or team mate on higher average???

I watched a 104 on 196 average last night and the guy was really trying, he looked like his eyes were going to pop out of his head.

I had a 158 a few weeks back and still managed a 608 series, only took 2 ball changes to find the right ball after changing hand and speed for the 158 game

I also shot 88 once in league my first year, lowest game by a man the whole season and should have been. It was nice and humiliating for me, but made me seek out coaching and the dreaded new ball kick I got on.

For 2 years believe it or not I had only 1 bowling ball, seems like a million years ago now it 1998 and 1999.

The lowest I remember was a 112 (I think) on roughly a 195 average, probably around 10 years ago.  I had 5 splits through 9 frames, threw plastic for the 10th hoping to leave an easy spare and left a 1-2-4-6-10.  The only thing worse would have been to throw the same plastic ball (one of the old "hard" Blue Dots) through the same hole.

A few years ago at a 5 game sport shot tournament, I was in second place after three games, averaging about 210.  The forth game I think I shot another 112.  I started with a double of all things, then had back to back 2-8-10's then a split through the nose.  I think the last 7 or 8 frames were all opens (whiffed a few easy ones also).  The funny thing was another guy on the pair shot 289!, so it wasn't like it was a bad pair.  I shot in the 215 range the last game.  If I shoot 170 that one game, I win.  Instead I don't even cash.

I popped a 137 2 weeks ago on my 216 average.  Nothing worked.  Anywhere.  At all.  It sucked.  Hard.

umm i shot a 99 last year... 6 splits will do that to ya.. then a chop spare here and nother there and BAM 99

and the first 600 i ever shot i went 8 miss and struck out for 11 in a row for a 278 then followed with a 128 and finished with 194 for a 600 even first ever

Two years ago when I shot my first 300 game I was averaging about 210 and went:   300-157-269  : talk about ruining a great series.

About 3 years ago while averaging over 200 (don't recall exact average), I rolled a 123. I struck out the 10th or it would have been even lower. Couldn't carry squat all game, then carried all 3 in the 10th.

i got one better. i had a series of 140-150-165 last friday. if i was any angrier i would have burst a blood vessel somewhere.

A friend of mine was bowling league about a year ago. At the time he was averaging mid 190s and he shot 278 , 265 , 112.

I shot 130 twice in my PBA league over the summer, but I can't remember shooting under 160 on a house shot in years. I think my low game this year is 170something.
