Worst of the Best
« on: July 31, 2006, 05:05:06 PM »
I consider myself a fairly decent bowler but I have never had much success.

I just bowler another sport tournament and finished one outside the money again.  If I think back, the number of times I have missed cashing by one spot by less than 10 pins is more than I have made the cut and more than I have missed the cut by 50+.  I am the bubble boy!  I bubble all the time in poker tournaments too.  Starting to get really frustrating

THe bad part about this last tournament was that I was throwing my spare ball almost the best I ever have, but I couldn't score.  Oh and I did have a 164 game    Left two splits and the 1-10.

I am not that good at reading transition or ball reaction and usually wait too long to make the right decision.

Another example is, I am well within the cutline going to the last game, I need to shoot 170 or so and have been right around even all day, and can't seem to find the pocket in the last game and fire a solid 150.

Nationals this year I shoot 215-278-163 in team

So for all this, I consider myself the worst of the best.  ANd want to know if anyone has any advice I can use to get past the bubble.
