Yet another 900 series?!
« on: November 06, 2009, 05:40:36 AM »
I heard about the 900 in Nevada a couple of weeks ago and I just check PBA forums and another 900 was tossed at Medford nanes in NJ just 72 hours after the Nevada 900. It said that Andrew Teall is the guy who threw it.  Can anyone confirm this?

If yes, congrat's to Andrew.

with all the house china shots out there nowadays that doesn't surprise me..

I do agree though carrying 36 shots in a single night is an amazing feet, regardless of the shot.

Even if you bury it in the pocket, that's no guarantee you'll carry.  (I can't seem to go through one night without leaving a smash 7, 8, or 9 at some point.  Or, usually multiple times in one night.)  So yeah, even on an "easy" shot, 900 is still insanely impressive.  You have to roll it well AND have a lot of good fortune on your side.

I agree with you Dan. NO WAY I could carry 36 in one session like that. Its very impressive.

last night I started out with a ringing 10 pin, then left a 4-9, then left a 6-8 (in the pocket) followed by an 8 pin. Thats kind of how the first 2 games went. I ended up with 843 for 4, but after that start, I was surprised.

If its true, congrats to the guy..
